  • Refund Policy
  • If a guest is not completely satisfied with their product purchase, they may exchange or return the item within 30 days of purchase for store credit only. Clearance/discounted items, hair dryers, all styling tools, wigs, extensions, gift items, and special-order products are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Lateness Policy
  • Please note that if a guest is late for their appointment, we may have to reschedule the service if it cannot be completed in the remaining time frame. If the service can be completed in the remaining time frame, then it will end at the scheduled time.
  • Cancellation Policy
  • Out of respect for our professional team, we strictly enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy for all appointments. Failure to appear, cancellations, or changes within 24-hours will be billed at 100% of the service price. We do understand that accidents and emergencies happen that prevent such notice. Therefore, guests are given the option to apply the fee to their next visit if booked within 7 days of the appointment cancellation or change.
  • Confirmation Calls
  • As a courtesy, we call to confirm guest service appointments two business days prior. If we are unable to reach a guest, we will leave a message. However, it is the guest’s responsibility to remember the appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and the cancellation fee.
  • COVID-19 Policy
  • All guests are required to wear face masks that cover their nose and mouth, including during your service (except during facials and specific waxing services). Temperature testing and health screening will be done upon entry to the Salon, Spa, and Men’s Club. Our locker room, sauna, soaking tubs, and showers are temporarily closed. Due to NYS guidelines and protocols, and to ensure continuation of our in-depth sanitation measures, a temporary Sanitation Surcharge of $5 will be added to each visit to Shear Ego.
